Belmond Group First Operator To Be Rated By SRA

The Luxury hotel and travel operator Belmond has become the first ever global company to be rated by the Sustainable Restaurant Association. The operator was awarded an average of two stars across the group with nine of its restaurants awarded the maximum three star rating for sustainability , making it the first luxury global brand to carry sustainable stars.

Belmond’s properties try to take every possible measure to improve sustainability including composting all food waste , offering certified organic and biodynamic drinks and sourcing high percentages of fruit, vegetables, dairy produce and fish locally.

It’s great to see a global group taking their operation and it’s environmental impact seriously.
