Reducing the amount you need to defrost is only one of the great benefits of owning an FFFCsg 550, it also comes with a light alarm to warn you if an uncontrolled temperature rise, such as if the door has been left open. This will be a rare occurance though, as the door is self-closing, helping ensure that it doesn't get left open very often. The door seal is easily replaceable, with no need for any tools, and the interior has been made to be smooth and easy to clean.
