A light alarm in the interior will alert you to any adverse changes in temperature, such as if the door has been left open too long, and speaking of the door, it has automatic closing when opened less than 90°, this means if you need the door open for longer for loading, unloading, or cleaning, just open the door a little wider and it will stay open, but for everyday use, the self-closing door helps ensure the freezer never remains open accidentally.
